About Me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist. I trained at Roehampton University and have a Masters degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy.

As an integrative practitioner, I understand and draw on a number of therapeutic approaches meaning that I am able to offer you an individual and flexible approach.

I work with individuals who are over the age of 18 and have met with people from different walks of life who have experienced a wide range of problems.

These include anxiety, overwhelm and perfectionism as well as relationship and identity issues. In addition to my private practice, I have worked within the NHS in primary care and with older adults in a charity setting.

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. I am fully insured, undertake regular supervision and am committed to keeping my knowledge and skills up to date by engaging in continuing professional development, as required by the BACP.

Before training as a counsellor and psychotherapist, I had a career in cancer research, specialising in molecular cell biology. Alongside working in the lab, I volunteered as a Samaritan and it was this which led me to think about changing my career when the opportunity presented itself. In my free time, I enjoy writing, yoga and spending time in nature.
